What to Bring / Before You Arrive:

1.  Judo or Jiu-Jitsu gi (uniform).  If you don't have one yet, wear exercise pants and a tee shirt.

2.  Clip your toe nails and finger nails.  Long nails can be ripped off, or worse, puncture the skin of your workout partner.

3.  Be rested up.  Drink plenty of fluids before you get here.  And you may want to bring a personal-sized container of
     water or Gatorade, etc.

4.  A good attitude.  Judo is about mutual benefit.  The more you help others get ahead, the more you help yourself
     get ahead.

5.  Try to be at least 5 minutes early, but we'd rather you come late than not at all.
6.  Bring your current USA Judo membership card.

What to Expect From Each Class:

You will burn an enormous amount of calories by participating in class.  You will strain, sweat, burn, and sometimes want to give up.  As time goes on, however, you will notice yourself become stronger, faster, and more coordinated.

Don't be intimidated if you're out of shape right now.  When you come in, you will be surrounded by other people struggling just as hard, and best of all, you can workout at your own pace.  No need to be embarrassed, intimidated, or nervous.  Each time you visit, you will be in better shape than you were last time.  So expect frustration and soreness, followed by pride and confidence.
